We had a fabulous time...I'm busy trying to edit pictures for my blurb book, but I'll have a few more up here soon! But this is Cas Abao Beach. On this day we drove around the island, stopping at Shete Boka National Park where waves crashed angrily along the shore (amazing), eating at a little restaurant about 30 feet above crystal clear water and where Jery jumped from that 30 foot ledge into the ocean, and then on to this beach.

Biscuits, baby!
Yummy biscuit recipe! And look! They turned out nice and fluffy! Woohoo!
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup buttermilk
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in buttermilk. On a flour surface, knead 10-12 times. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 2-1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown!

Windsor and Ethan's basketball game
We drove to Denver Saturday night. Our plan was to drive on into Windsor, but the kids were DONE with the driving thing. And I'm kind of glad because look at the view we got all the way from Denver Sunday morning to Windsor. Georgeous!

Sweet...

I totally love it when they're sweet to each other! They were getting ready to watch E.T. and I heard them talking in quiet voices and thought...hmmmm, what are they up to? So I said "Hey guys, what's going on?" and they said "we're going to sit together to watch E.T." Ah, my heart melts. And then there was this pretty light coming through the window and so I had to have a picture.
