More from BayLea's birthday

BayLea had dance on her birthday and then we celebrated with dinner at Red Robin (did that last year too!).









Oh and Breccan found my candy stash at work...






She opened some presents from Mimi and Pa. A really nice little outfit and some girl legos!






They sang to her which she loves and wants, but won't look at them while they do it! LOL





And when we got home she opened a couple presents from us.



She had a nice day.

BayLea is 6! I can't believe it!

Today was her birthday! Six years...unreal.


Here she is on her first birthday, eating her first piece of cake.


And here she is this morning through the afternoon.




Before school she had to teach me..."The b in my name is saying the right thing. The a is too, but you don't hear the y." Etc.





And then we met Mimi for lunch at Thai Chilis. Yummy! And Mimi had a present for BayLea.


The cookies left over from her birthday at school.


Here she is saying "I know what this is! A movie!" It was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Denver Trip...Zoo Lights

We went to Denver so that I could attend a photography workshop (Sandy Puc). We stopped off at the zoo to see the Zoo Lights when we got into Denver. There were TONS of people there. I took a few photos, but I didn't have a tri-pod, so they're not that creative!









These first four were with my little point and shoot because it had a flash to light their faces. My big camera doesn't have a flash and I forgot to bring my external flash...











And we had to ride the carosel, which was pretty fun!




Sunday morning this kids woke up before 6:00 and they were hungry. Since Daddy was in bed still snoring away with the pillow and Breccan's blanket piled on top of his head, I figured he wasn't getting up any time soon to go to breakfast. So I ordered up a fruit plate for them to tide them over.

Last Meal of 2009

For New Year's Dinner we had Sweet and Sour Chicken, rice, and egg drop soup. It was all really tasty, especially the sweet and sour chicken.

2009 has been crazy busy, and lots of fun. Here's looking forward to another great year!

Sledding...for the first time!

Since I'm wonder mom and all, I decided to take the kids sledding for the FIRST time... aren't I great! Actually, I just didn't know where to go except to Old Powderhorn, and that's a 40 minute drive. My friend, Sue (aka Captain) and my friend Ruth gave me the inside scoop on going to Scenic Elementary and sledding. Finally managed it! If I'd known how much fun they'd have (and how much work they have to do) I would have been there every day this break!!!
























BayLea had a friend show up from daycare (not planned, they just were there).






I wanted to get a picture of my kids together, but decided I wanted them closer together. Look how cute Breccan looks here...

and then he made faces at me for the one of them closer!

He's still cute though!


Daddy showed up after work...he was a little cold.




They both wanted to try sledding like they were snowboarding...may be time for ski lessons.





and P.S. Can I just tell you how much I love my camera??? Because although I blew out some of the snow, at least my snow isn't GRAY!!!
