Fishing Derby and Kentucky Derby

We watched the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, where Breccan won about $50...and then we did the fishing Derby at Gene Taylors on Sunday!

At this point in the race you couldn't tell one horse and rider from the next! What a muddy mess!

Breccan's get-up for fishing was hilarious...he has shorts over long underwear! Hilarious!

It's cold!!!

Breccan had the hardest time just sitting and watching his pole. He was into the fishing gear many, many times.

Unfortunately, we didn't catch anything. Derned fish!

And now just some pictures...

For dinner one night while Grandma was here, we made little individual pizzas...

We each made our own.

Kia is finally tolerating the kids...

And some balancing fun!

More buncha stuff!

Buncha Stuff

More of Breccan's t-ball. These might be the end for a while...he's played like 5 games and I have about 400 pictures. Craziness, I know!

I like that i got the ball too!

After the game...these two hardly even LOOK like my kids!

Later that day, Jery played golf and we hung out. We sat in the hot tub...

and played a modified version of t-ball in the cul-de-sac.

Last week we went to Lynette's for dinner. The kids had a ton of fun playing together, especially BayLea and Bella.

I am in love with this picture...blur and all!

Fun with Pa

BayLea learned this hand rhyme while we were in Cancun. Pa taught it to her. She's gotten quite good at it.

And Breccan got to paint an old trunk that Pa used to have at the roller rink. He thought that was GREAT.

BayLea Backlit

She wanted me to take pictures on this little bridge. I need to edit the rest.

BayLea's Original Artwork

These are some of the products we got from BayLea's Original Artworks fundraiser at school. Isn't it cute?
