January 2017

I set up my light and backdrop to practice. I'm really out of practice. I rarely have time to go shoot photos any more. Wouldn't change that though. Sure do love to take photos of my kids though!

This is Bay's 13 year old picture. I love it.

We didn't really have a theme for her birthday. Just happy polka dots!

She wanted to do the puzzle room, so that's what we did. We ALMOST got out on time. We had ONE puzzle left to do.

 Craziness with friends.

Breccan at hard work in 5th grade.

The kids did a group ski deal...I think it was called Free Riders. It wasn't lessons, really, although there was an instructor there. The goal was to get the kids familiar with the mountain, so that they could ski Powderhorn without mom freaking out. They did some black runs, and they are pretty solid skiers now.

This was the first day of Free Riders. From then on, the kids had ski poles.

October 2016

Breccan's birthday is in October! We sure do love that boy!

I also took Bay's soccer team photos. I think they turned out kinda cool!

Discussing the ballet this year...what a train wreck this election was. It was hard to make a decision of who to vote for.
Breccan's 11 year old pictures. I love to shoot with a graffiti background!

There's a smile from the boy. He doesn't like to smile for me, which drives me crazy, because his real, joy-filled smile is awesome.

His birthday party was at Get Air again, and surprisingly, they let Pa bring in his cotton candy machine and make cotton candy after the party! :)

Mimi shares the same birthday, and we don't always celebrate her as we should, so this year, before she headed off to Mexico, I brought some yummy cupcakes from a cupcake specialty shop and we had a mini-birthday bash. Those cupcakes were GOOD!

January 2016

Basketball started for Breccan in January. This little team made a lot of growth as a team, learning to support each other and play as a team. They might not have won many games, but they learned team-ship! :)

I do believe that indoor soccer is one of my favorite things to watch. So much fun.

Can't believe this girl is 12 years old. Wow. Where does time go??

On her birthday, we had a few presents for her to open before school. Even Breccan got up, even though it was before 7:00 a.m. She leaves the house at 7:10, so it was early.

Pulled her out of school for a lunch out. We ate at Dragon Treasures. I don't think the school gave us an excused absence for the one class she missed. Oh well. Life will go on with an unexcused absence from school.

One of the things we got her for her birthday was a workout outfit. She looked super cute.
We ate an early dinner at Roadhouse, and then she had volleyball practice.

We forgot to open mimi and pa's present in the morning, so one more present in the evening.

 Her birthday cake.

We had a friend come over and paint with them. They really enjoyed that.

 Their paintings.

She has become a very good volleyball player. She even got on her third tournament, the VIP pin from her coach. You could really see on that day how everything clicked for her and she understood what to do, when to do it, and did it well! She was even sweating after one of the games...the one where her team beat the undefeated for three tournaments Montrose team! :)
