National Honor Society and Photos in the Peach Blossoms

Our Bay-girl was chosen to be part of the Lincoln Orchard Mesa Elementary's first National Honor Society! We are so proud of this little girl and how hard she works!

Mimi and Pa were able to come, which was a gift!

I haven't taken good portraits of my kids in a while, and even then I couldn't get Breccan to pose for me. He was more interested in TAKING the photos! :) So he had his camera, and I had mine, and we took pictures of BayLea, and another little girl who was there with us, a photographer friend's daughter.

I did get these of them together, but that was all of Breccan. I do love these though!

BayLea used my camera and she did get these of the Boo-Bear. <3 p="">

Music, Ice Fishing & stuff

BayLea's last performance at LOM was last night. It was after school choir. She looked beautiful!

This was just a shot I took of her for fun!

Josh picking Breccan up from our hotel at 6:15 a.m. to head out to the lake in Grand Lake.
 I wonder where they are???

Ethan got to ride one of the fishing monitor's snow mobile.

On our way up there, we got a flat! :( Breccan got to learn how to fix a flat.

Too bad we didn't get any fish.

End of February and Beginning of March

Now that Mimi is home we had to have Christmas. So we had Christmas in February!

Camilla came to visit and I had to take a few pictures of that cute little babe!

BayLea is part of Student Council this year and one of their fundraisers was to raise money for Aubrie, a baby born with heart defects. We had a ROAR rally and part of the rally was to present a check to Aubrie's mom. This is the poster that BayLea helped to make.
AND...she was honored during that ROAR rally for Ownership of her learning and her future. I can't tell you how proud I was of this hard working girl.

Soccer has begun. However, our time for practice is at 6:15, and so this week, prior to time-change, we practiced at 5:45 until dark. As you can see, the full moon came up and it was a beautiful DARK night for practice.
Dr. Suess celebrations always happen at our school. BayLea is dressed wacky.

And Breccan's class has a great time celebrating too.
BayLea was also inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society. We were very proud!

 Getting her pin!

And Mimi and Pa were able to be there to watch the induction ceremony. Yay!
