More Atlanta...

Oh my gosh, I think I'm done editing and posting to the blog! I took like 700 pictures or some such nonsense on this trip! These are the final ones from Logansville, I think! We went to a little town (can't remember the name...Jill, if you see this e-mail the name of this town). This is one of the towns that Sherman did not burn down on his way to the sea during the Civil War. So it has a lot of the older buildings you think of when you think of the old South. We had a nice dinner out on the sidewalk at a place called O'Hara's. I think I got some really great pictures...late evening light. Love it! BayLea and Auntie Jill. This was a good trip for my kids to get to know Auntie Jill, Uncle Scott and Aaron and Lacey.
Aaron and Lacey were sooooo good with the kids. They played with them and entertained them. I think Jery and I got the chance to actually talk once in a while to other adults!

I LOVE this picture of Lacey and BayLea...their eyes are almost the same color!
Beautiful pictures of Lacey and BayLea...

And there's my little man!
Our last day there we went out to test drive Scott and Jill's new boat! it was fun. We didn't get to be on the lake as long as we would have liked, but we had a great time while we were out there.
Breccan totally loved it, especially driving it.

The tubing was the highlight for BayLea. She sat back there screaming "Go faster! -- Go faster!" Totally my girl...no fear. She loves fast things...roller coasters, tubing...
Look at her face. Thank you to Lacey to take her not once, but twice!

Aaron got dumped one time! Hit a wave pretty good and tossed him right off that tube!

Atlanta

Here we are our first day in Logansville, GA. We spent the day just hanging out, because we got there soooooo late the night before. The kids played in the pool and with their cousins.

We went the Atlanta Aquarium...what an amazing place. Normally I'm not into wandering around looking at FISH, but holy cow, what a neat aquarium! The way they had it designed and the different viewing areas were just cool!

This sting ray was in a petting pool. Those little boogers are fast!
I love this picture of Breccan and the fish. Before we wandered around we went to a 3-D movie about saving the ocean. This fish was the one that the main character was modeled after.
a starfish and sea anenome touch pool.

That crab was gi-normous...it doesn't look like it there, but it was huge!
Baby beluga in the deep blue sea...swim so wild and you swim so free...except for you, cuz you're in a tank. But it was a LARGE tank and there were two or three more beluga whale in there with you!
Just a cool pic of fish....
And a cool shot of a shark of some sort...
and one of the FOUR whale sharks in this tank!
Then we went to the Atlanta Olympic park for some water sprinkler fun...

And then ate $5 ice cream! I have more pictures from Atlanta, but they've got to get edited!

These are the rest of Minneapolis...

We headed to Mall of America that first evening for some amusement...!
This is a picture of the roller coaster Josh and I went on...The scariest part was the going up the vertical climb.
Two peas in a pod.
BayLea loves roller coasters. This picture was us just before we got on the Fairly Odd Rollercoaster. She had a blast. The first thing out of her mouth when we got done was, "Can we go again!?"
Even Breccan loved the log ride. He enjoyed all the rides he was able to get on.

There we are on the roller coaster...
Boo! This was the ghost shooting scary ride. Jery and BayLea went on. We actually went back to Mall of America on the last day because our flight wasn't until 4:30 or so in the afternonn, and we rode the rides again. Breccan went on this one then.
