Too Much Fun!

We decided to go the carnival...did you know how expensive that is? I guess I'm really getting old. I figured 50 cents a tickets...but NO! A buck a ticket! We dropped $50 at this carnival for about an hour of fun and maybe 7 rides. BUT it was a blast. The kids had a great time. Breccan actually enjoyed all the rides. The last time he tried even the carosel (is that spelled right?) he was scared and wanted off; but this time, he laughed and giggled! We really did have fun and I guess $50 is worth it, when your kids get to have so much fun!

This giant slide was one of their favorites...$2 a piece per ride. Geez! I look terrified...I was a little nervous, it seemed like we'd fly right off the side!

Mother's Day

Oh, boy, trying to get a picture of me and both my kids is such a challenge! BayLea is pretty easy, but Breccan is in his 'don't take my picture' phase and when he does get it taken there's usually a pretty funny look on his face!

For the last few years, I've had a Mother's Day brunch at my house. This year wasn't any different...mom and dad and Jason came over and we ate Breakfast enchiladas, Spinach Artichoke frittata, fruit and dip, and drank mimosas, Lime Lemonade, and Mojitos. Yummy! We also had music by Dad. I just love that.
Dad has the most amazing voice and I don't get to hear him sing enough. We used to spend a lot of time at the Moose or Eagles or VFW, where ever he was playing, but now that we have kids, it's harder to get there. But anyway, it was hot enough that sitting on the deck got pretty warm, so we used umbrellas to shade ourselves. The plan this summer is to build a top of some sort to put over the deck to cut out some of that HOT HOT sun!

This is Breccan eating dry cereal after his nap. He was one tired boy...he didn't go to sleep the night before until around 9:30 and got up at his usual 6:00 a.m. He didn't want his picture taken, but you know me...can't resist!

Most days when dad comes over he take a nap. I've decided I'm going to take a picture of him every time he does.

Towards later afternoon, we headed out to the 'site' (as mom calls it...she's afraid she'll never invite us to her house, it'll always be an invite to the site). The above picture is of Jery and mom in her bathtub! And the one below is of her shaving her legs in the shower!

Both the kids on dad's toy...the tractor. BayLea, of course, is gungho to drive the tractor. It usually takes Breccan a little while to decide to drive it. He's much more cautious than BayLea.

The mule's are at the 'site' to keep the weeds down. Dad borrowed them from a friend. BayLea loves the mules, and shows no fear of them. Breccan actually warned up a little this time and wanted to pet them. This one is HUGE! And very friendly. To see Jery up there petting too, is quite an accomplishment. He does not like horses too much!

I love this picture. I just love pictures my kids getting tossed up in the air. It just shows the trust of them with their daddy.

BayLea, just being cute!

Dad with the mule. I can't remember if this is Dolly or Rocky. I'm thinking Rocky. He usually escorts dad to the gate as we leave. I think Dad needs to buy a horse. He loves them.
We had a great Mother's Day. Jery and the kids had flowers sent to me, and I got a gift card to the Spa for a pedicure and a massage. Which reminds me, I need to go call and schedule that!! Woo Hoo!

A Tigers Teammate

This is a boy I took a picture of as he was getting ready to play catcher. I just love it when I get a snapshot that I can play with and get a great shot out of it!!

BayLea rocked her t-ball game!

Okay, don't be scared...there's a lot of images to follow! BayLea played t-ball tonight, and she did sooooo good! She hasn't been real big on the whole deal, but tonight, she ran after all the balls that came near her (even though she only got one or two...she isn't too aggressive and if someone else got there first, she just turned around and went back to her spot), she hit the ball by actually swinging at the tee, and she ran FAST around the bases, rather than the skip hop ballet step she was doing! I was so proud of her!
She's getting a little beginning of the game tips from daddy!

She's after a ball!
This picture is a funky color because it actually was BLACK when I took it. I totally underexposed it, and I loved the way she is in it and so I lightened, lightened, lightened!

Are they almost done batting yet, daddy?

She got the ball!!!

She gets to throw to first base!

I love the way her hair is flying out and the look on her face!

A little reminder of which way first base was!

Look at how fast she ran...she even has some blur going on!

And she hit home plate! I was just really proud of her. She really has changed since that first week when she didn't want to play and didn't have any idea of how to play. She's learned a lot and became a lot more confident!

Some photos of clients...

This is a senior girl I took last fall. This is one of the images she ordered and that I loved!

I love this family above...all four of them are incredibly photogenic (I know there's only two of them pictured here, but there's 4 in the family!)!

This gal had her pictures taken to send to the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and for the salon she worked in. The other collage is my husband and daughter, BayLea. I love the faces they were making!

I work with Ruth and I've taken many pictures of Dmitri.

Don't you just love the faces this kiddo can make?

Here are a few more I've taken...

These are a couple more shots...I kind of like the curly Q one...it's from a Columbine....I think I'm going to love my macro lens.

Okay...I hear Breccan dragging a chair across the kitchen. That's NEVER a good sign...
