Atlanta

Here we are our first day in Logansville, GA. We spent the day just hanging out, because we got there soooooo late the night before. The kids played in the pool and with their cousins.

We went the Atlanta Aquarium...what an amazing place. Normally I'm not into wandering around looking at FISH, but holy cow, what a neat aquarium! The way they had it designed and the different viewing areas were just cool!

This sting ray was in a petting pool. Those little boogers are fast!
I love this picture of Breccan and the fish. Before we wandered around we went to a 3-D movie about saving the ocean. This fish was the one that the main character was modeled after.
a starfish and sea anenome touch pool.

That crab was gi-normous...it doesn't look like it there, but it was huge!
Baby beluga in the deep blue sea...swim so wild and you swim so free...except for you, cuz you're in a tank. But it was a LARGE tank and there were two or three more beluga whale in there with you!
Just a cool pic of fish....
And a cool shot of a shark of some sort...
and one of the FOUR whale sharks in this tank!
Then we went to the Atlanta Olympic park for some water sprinkler fun...

And then ate $5 ice cream! I have more pictures from Atlanta, but they've got to get edited!

These are the rest of Minneapolis...

We headed to Mall of America that first evening for some amusement...!
This is a picture of the roller coaster Josh and I went on...The scariest part was the going up the vertical climb.
Two peas in a pod.
BayLea loves roller coasters. This picture was us just before we got on the Fairly Odd Rollercoaster. She had a blast. The first thing out of her mouth when we got done was, "Can we go again!?"
Even Breccan loved the log ride. He enjoyed all the rides he was able to get on.

There we are on the roller coaster...
Boo! This was the ghost shooting scary ride. Jery and BayLea went on. We actually went back to Mall of America on the last day because our flight wasn't until 4:30 or so in the afternonn, and we rode the rides again. Breccan went on this one then.

More from Minneapolis

We really had a great time on our trip to both Minneapolis and Atlanta. These are the Minny trip pictures. My poor kids got to have kazillion pictures taken of them for my photography class...some turned out great, and some just so so. This one was in Josh's backyard. I rarely get a picture of both kids together with both looking at the camera. I chopped off feet, but I like it anyway.
We spent one afternoon down at a festival at the Stone Arch Bridge Park. There was crafts and food and music.
Breccan really doesn't like things to be too loud and so while we listened to the music, he spent some of the time with his fingers in his ears. He also covers his ears if he is nervous or unsure about something, like riding in a van to the airport in the EARLY morning...

That's my little man! I have a ton of pictures of him with all kinds of expressions on his face. This is his Dennis the Menace face...his nickname while there because being two, he is always into something! He managed to play with cousin Catie's fish until it died.
Just cuddling with daddy...
I just love that picture of BayLea holding flowers...the fact the flowers are in focus and she's out of focus...BayLea got to help make pasta at the kids section of the festival. Unfortunately, they didn't get to eat any...too many little hands on it!

I just like this picture of Josh.
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE these of Breccan and Josh. Breccan loves all the men in the family and it wasn't any different during his time with Uncle Josh.

They're just so darned cute.
On Father's Day we went for a brunch on the Grand Duchess boat down the river. What a fun day!

Of course, I took time to take pictures using the techniques I am learning from my class. Pictures, pictures, pictures.

Ahhhh, cheese curds. I LOVE THEM! These were at a little restaurant bar we stopped at after the river boat ride. Tasty tasty.

Minneapolis

Ill have to post more tomorrow because I have to resize my images...it's taking too long this way. So the first couple are from the Mall of America. And the bottom one is me with the picture I took of the Minneapolis skyline last year. Josh had it enlarged for the wall in his office and he even paid me!

white balance for my class...

I'm taking a class online and I'm working on white balance...hopefully the colors look right? The original image was pretty blue and so I tried to balance the colors.
