Fruita Fall Festival

The kids and I went to the Fruita Fall Festival Saturday morning, bright and early. The bed races were at 9:00, so that's when we got there...They were funny!




I love it when my kids hold hands.





This one was my favorite...police officer's in pink pants!




Breccan is being spiderman. I think he should be spiderman for Halloween!


The kids rode a camel!

Then there was a parade...we met up with Isabel and Isabel's family...





LOOK! There's a band...

That doesn't happen much any more.


And horses...we don't get many horses in the Grand Junction parades any more. In the Fruita parade there were only about 50 old cars...in the GJ parades there's usually 150 old cars and that's about it! It was fun to see a parade that had a band (albiet only one), horses, alpacas, and other cute things!

We were out there all day. We came home around 3:30 or so. Jery had to work, so he missed out on the fun! And it only cost me....about $60!!! Geez!

My kid is cute!




We couldn't find a babysitter for the day and I'm so we were glad to have Ethan and Leah there. We paid them each $20 to help watch them. That way Jery and I could go listen to the concerts in the VIP section. The kids didn't have VIP tickets.




It was a beautiful sunset evening!

One very tired kid. Actually both of them, but BayLea didn't fall asleep on the way home.

And BayLea in a CUTE polka dot dress...I can't pass up a polka dot dress for her! Does the color on her face look off? Or is it just all the gray throwing a blue tint?
