Decorating Rice Krispe's

BayLea was invited to a rice krispie treat decorating party by a friend from school. She had fun decorating several different treats! Breccan enjoyed seeing a old friend from Stepping Stones.

Snowman Soup

Mimi got us cups with the preparations for snowman soup. We had a fun time making it...Jery and I wanted to do it outside, but BayLea was insisting on it happening too soon and so we just heated water in the microwave and did it in the house. Some day we'll do it again and sit outside by the fire.






Aren't they just the CUTEST cups???? I love polka dots!

Cheers! And look at Breccan's face...big surprise, the kid is dealing with chocolate. He is incapable of eating anything chocolate without getting it on his face.


This was the candy cane I had in my cup...the hot water melted it into this shape. We thought that was hilarious!

Breccan's Christmas Program

Boy, Breccan was not real thrilled with this Christmas program thing all day. I kept telling him how excited I was to see his program, and he kept saying he "wasn't going to get on stage and sing!" When we got there, he saw the star he was supposed to wear and the first thing out of his mouth was "I don't want to wear that!" Miss Joanne bribed him with candy and a toy the next day and so he decided to do it.

Once he got up on stage, you could tell he was enjoying it. He looked so cute. He was the only Christmas star...I kind of think Joanne likes him pretty well and wanted him to be something different.

Santa was there...

Busy Friday

Christmas celebrations abound! BayLea had her school celebration and then we celebrated at Mimi and Pa's on Friday. Breccan had his at school on Thursday which I didn't get to go to because I work in the mornings now. (I'm sorry, little man, that I miss your parties!)


BayLea is checking out a book in the library with Mrs. Johnson.

And then the classroom party starts. Food first...


Then a craft...




It's so cute! (I wonder where we put that thing????)


Then games...BayLea was really good at Musical Chairs. She could slide her little butt in there at the last second, squeezing it under whoever else was trying to get in the chair.








She took second place. She kind of just let the boy sit and didn't fight for it this time.

Then the opening of the presents for Mrs. Bergen.



And then that night we had Christmas at Mimi and Pa's. Mimi's trees were soooo cute! She is so creative...wish I had some of that!





Grandpa got my dad a Harley Bear.


We all got nutcrackers...Breccan's is a pirate, mine is a cook, BayLea's is a ballerina, and Jery's is a Bronco player. They are so cute!










Breccan was hilarious opening his presents...he would says things like "My GUN. I've always wanted this gun my whole life!" and "My sister has this art thing! I've been waiting forever to get it!"






BayLea was much more reserved...she is every Christmas! She doesn't show all the emotion and excitement that Breccan does...












I hate the fact that I am rarely documented as being AT things because I'm always taking the pictures, but then when my picture is taken I hate looking at it. I look dorky.






We had lasagna (spelling please??), salad, bread and a yummy dessert!












I know, people, (all three of you who follow this consistently)I have lots of pictures on each post! I have a problem that way!
