Breccan decided he wants a mohawk. So grandma had some wicked strong gel to keep it up there. We had this do for several days.

Moon Farm Field Trip
BayLea's class went to the Moon Farm. I took the day off and went with them. It was fun, just watching my baby girl run all over the place enjoying her first official field trip. My child is almost through kindergarten...can you believe it?
Heading to the bus. I could have ridden the bus with her, but because the note said that parents had to drive their own vehicle, I thought I'd better follow the parent rule and not play the teacher at this school card. I wish I had though.
After the general discussion about rules, the majority of the kids headed to the rabbit pen that had all the baby rabbits. I'm completely floored that the bunnies weren't killed in the stampede.
Oh the horse ride. She loves loves loves the horse ride!

Beauty and the Beast...My girl
BayLea at the Beauty and the Beast dance rehearsal. She's so pretty!
Just after we put her makeup on before we left the house.
Adding some eyebrow pencil. Guess I'll have to do that today.
During the warm ups, everyone was doing voice exercises. I think BayLea was a little confused about all that!
Here she's a villager.
Dressed and ready to be a rose.
It's a cute show. Hopefully we'll be able to hear the kids when they say their lines...it was a little quiet last night. Maybe they'll have mikes for them.

BayLea's Author Celebration
Oh, boy, the end of kindergarten is coming up fast. They had an end of year author celebration. The kids got to read their books they authored. BayLea was soooo cute, and her stories were great!
This story that Mrs. Bergen is reading is called My Mom is Great. I told BayLea I was going to buy this book so that she could read it every time she gets mad at me so that she could remember that her mom is GREAT!

Mother's Day Fun
We had a very nice day on Mother's Day, even with my sinus infection! We began with a brunch with Linda and then spent a good portion of the day at the carnival. We bought the kids wrist bands; $25 got them all the rides they wanted. It was a good move...many times they'd get off a ride and immediately says "I'm going on that one again!" We didn't need to keep track of how many tickets we had left, and how many we'd have left if they went on that ride again, and would we have enough to ride that ride? They just had fun. We bought 20 extra tickets for us to use with them.
I love the joy on their faces...
This ride was for Jery and Grandma. I didn't think my head would allow this ride.
This was some sort of fun house. We all ended up going through it. It was quite fun with all these surprising little moving parts on the ground, ending up with this turning tunnel. The kids thought it was great. We adults had a much harder time getting through it. Especially Grandma.
