Halloween Costumes

Spook day is tomorrow! BayLea's Harvest Party at school was today. She had to go as a book character so she went as Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy. She looked so cute! But for actual trick-or-treating, she is a pumpkin fairy/witch...not sure exactly what this is, but she is still darned cute in it!

Breccan is a tiger. He loves tigers. He has a book with photographs of different animals and his favorite by far is the tiger pictures. When he saw the tiger in the catalog, he said that was it, and did not waver a bit!

Growl.....grrrrr.....

Again, trying to get pictures of my kids is tough. I got some good ones, but not without quite a bit of convincing and coercing...wish they'd just cooperate!

Breccan's 3rd Birthday

Breccan's birthday party this year was a Cars theme. This is the cake that I made...I decorated all but the red part...I had my housekeeper, Lisa, finish it up because I was stressing out.

Jery and I got him this little tool table. He loves it. It is so him.

As soon as dad got over to our house, big surprise, he fell asleep. I am determined that I'll snap a picture of him sleeping every time. One of these days I'll put together a huge collage of him sleeping!

BayLea had a hard time letting Breccan open his present by himself. It's hard for little ones to understand!

From here on down my pictures are totally out of order. Blogger changed the way they load in, and I'm just now figuring out the method of madness. Anyway, we had a pinate for the kids to pull the strings from. They each got to pull two strings, and Breccan actually on his 3rd try, pulled the string that opened the candy! We had a lot of guests here, but I don't post all their pictures without permission.

These two are the pictures I took of them, and one like it of all the kids that came. They decorated little frames with car sticker and them I put their picture in it...

They really turned out cute!

He loved blowing out the cake candles this year. Last year he was a little embarrassed, but this year he was totally into it.

I love this picture of Breccan and me. Our neighbor and new friend, John, took pictures. It was nice to have someone who knows how to run a camera, take some pictures!

I think Breccan had a great party. He's a special little boy. We love him.

Breccan's celebration at Daycare

We celebrated Breccan's birthday at daycare on Friday (because his actual birthday on Monday was too busy of a day...I had to work and he had kindermusic). These are the monkey cupcakes I made. Aren't they cute? And all of a sudden blogger doesn't put my pictures on in order so this next picture is actually the last picture I took...and it was later at home. I was trying out what I wanted to do for his actual birthday on Sunday. More on that later!

Okay, here we are at daycare...

Breccan had such a great time. He was so proud. Daddy couldn't come because he was at work, and Mimi couldn't come because she was in Vegas for a party for her brother, but BayLea and Pa were there.

I can't believe he is 3 years old. What a precious boy!

Auntie Dana and Uncle Jody and the kids!

BayLea is such a willing subject these days for my photography passion! Today I was practicing a wide open aperature. She would run around and play and when I'd say "BayLea!" she would stop and look at me and smile. She's so darned cute!

Auntie Dana and Uncle Jody came by on Friday. They were flying to Ohio to visit Jared and wanted to leave their truck here and get a ride to the airport. The kids, especially Breccan, had fun playing with them! Breccan and Uncle Jody get along really well. BayLea was a little distracted with Wow Wow Whoopsie on TV though. (yes, I'm a wonderful mama!)

Breccan is all boy! He wanted to throw the football while he was wearing his Broncos shirt. He and daddy played outside for a while. I was trying to get a backlit shot, too, but that didn't work!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

We went to the pumpkin patch today. The two pumpkins the kids have already are from the little pumpkin patch at the Rowland Farm that BayLea got on her field trip there. We went to the 'fancy' patch out on K Road. We've been there the last two years for sure, and maybe the last three years. They've got it all decorated with lots and lots of pumpkins, little scarecrows and cute fall/halloween/pumpkin signs, and there is a corn maze.

Just after we got there, they both had picked out a pumpkin right on the edge of the patch. Practically the first one they came across.

Then they just started collecting pumpkins. I think the above picture is funny with all those pumpkins in there. They didn't get that many of course. Just the big one under Breccan's arms and the one in the far right corner.

They had a little place set up for pictures that a lady from a church put together to take pictures of her kids from Sunday school. I took advantage of that little area.

We dared to enter the corn maze. The kids had a blast. It was fun this year that both of them could run through it and have a blast. Last year Breccan was just a little young to go running around in there.

I totally love this picture of BayLea. She had peeked around the corner of that stalk, and I wanted her to do it again. This is as close as she could come up with, but I love it!
