Toys for Tots Drive

We took the kids shopping Friday morning to pick out a toy for the Toys for Tots Drive. BayLea wanted to buy incredibly expensive toys, so it took a while to get one that we could afford. Breccan picked one out pretty quickly. I thought it would be hard for them to give them up that night, but it wasn't! They did so well!

We got to look up close at these incredible light creations too. These are some floats that were build the Grand Junction Pipe and Steel years ago, and we see them in the Parade of Lights, and although they have them on display different places at Christmas each year, this is the first time we've seen them up close. The kids were fascinated!

I have more picture to post from tonight, but I have to finish editing them.

  1. How cool is that carriage and horses?! And your kiddos are too darn cute! Good for you helping them to learn early the real value in giving at this time of year!

  2. Great shots Kelly! I can't wait until Cameron is old enough to understand the joy of giving. Keep up the great work with the kids! You are teaching them wonderful values!
